Alongside our main event stage, is our Discovery stage where Scotland’s rising music talents take the spotlight. Kicking off at 1pm on both days, this stage is all about fresh sounds and new experiences.

From bands making their big-stage debut to solo artists showcasing their latest tracks, there will be something new and exciting to enjoy. The Discovery Stage isn’t just about listening to music it’s about discovering your next favourite artist. Join us, support emerging talent, and be part of their musical journey right from the start. It’s raw, real, and a genuine reflection of Scotland’s dynamic music scene.

HEARTLAND FESTIVAL!

As Scotland’s latest festival addition, we are here to stay! From some of the biggest names in Indie, Folk & Rock to up & coming stars, we are all about the music!

The Heartland Festival is located at the Pitlochry Recreation Ground on Ferry Road, Pitlochry, Perthshire. The post code for the event is PH16 5DZ. Please note there will be both pedestrian and vehicular access to the event clearly signposted upon arrival.

By Road: Pitlochry is located just off the A9, the main route through central Scotland. If you’re coming from Edinburgh or Glasgow, follow the A9 north. The journey takes about 1.5 hours from Edinburgh and just under 2 hours from Glasgow. Parking facilities will be available on-site for those who have secured their parking passes.

By Rail: Pitlochry Railway Station is on the main line from Edinburgh and Glasgow, with regular services running throughout the day. The station is approximately 0.3 mile from the festival entrance.

The Heartland Festival will be held on the weekend of 29th & 30th June 2024. The gates will be open from 12pm. Discovery stage starts at 1pm and Heartland stage at 3pm. The event will finish at 10.45pm each day with the bars closing at 10.30pm.

We ask you to please be respectful to the local community of Pitlochry over the weekend of the Heartland Festival and and be mindful of any noise in the late evening when staying in or moving through the town.

No food and drink can brought on to the event site, unless required for medical reasons. There are a number of quality food stalls and vans providing a full range and refreshments available, serving both alcoholic and soft drinks.

We have sufficient parking at the event across both days. Parking is located on site and close to the event site. If you still need to do so, you can secure your parking passes here. Parking for both days is discounted to £25. The entrance for reserved car parking is opposite Blair Atholl Distillery, Perth Road, Pitlochry PH16 5LY.

Toilet facilities and baby change will be available at the event.
