After the mass popularity and tickets for the event still being purchased the morning of, we decided for 2025 we would allow our die-hard MacMoray fans to to grab their tickets early – which did not disappoint! Within 3 days the First-release had already sold 90% of tickets, and following announcing this – sold out within 24 hours!

A lineup is still to be announced, but with each year of the Easter Festival – the lineup grows and even bigger acts are revealed! Looking toward August, MacMoray Summer Special will be the biggest & hottest event Moray has ever seen, and it wont stop there! Weekend Parking tickets are still available to buy online

Organiser Andy Macdonald, who brought MacMoray Festivals to Elgin’s Cooper Park, was last month successful with a bid to return a piping event to Forres. The British Pipe Band Championships – to be branded as MacPiping Hot Forres – will take place at Grant Park on Saturday 8th June.

Tickets for the event will go on sale on Friday 29th March at 9pm – with a special announcement price seeing the cost frozen at 2018 levels. This means adults will be £15, with Children considerably cheaper. Interest in tickets can be registered here: ybdmusic.com/macpiping-hot/ and a link to buy early-bird tickets will be sent on 28th March.

With a total of 120 bands, over 4,000 pipers and between 15-20,000 spectators, this is sure to be the biggest event Forres has ever seen!
