Lotus-Maeve Update: 14/05/25

“Lotus-Maeve had numerous bloods done last week and her neutrophils levels weren’t high enough, and her sodium levels were too high, so we had them re-taken 3 times within 2 days. They repeated yesterday, only to have a call last night to say she was too cold! Down today for surgery so she has had bone marrow test done, a new NG feeding tube and an Asparaginase chemo injection. She is not long out of surgery, but is sleeping and so far so good! Hopefully get home tonight fingers crossed then she’ll start her new chemo block next week which is gonna be pandemonium as we’re in for 1 hour out for 2 days, then in for 3 days out for 2, then back in for 1 hour. It then then repeats for around 6 weeks! That is all unless of course she spikes any temperatures then it will be Dr Grey’s for antibiotics then bluelighted through for extra days, hopefully not – fingers crossed we don’t have to do that and everything runs smoothly”
