THIRD PARTY EVENT Terms & Conditions

By purchasing tickets to an event not hosted by ourselves (YBD Music Limited) via our website ybdmusic.com you agree to our site privacy policy. You also agree that your details may be passed to the event organiser. YBD Music is just a broker and are not liable for any service other than the sale of tickets & promotion on a third party basis, and is not liable for any refunds/returns on any orders/tickets. For Returns/refunds please get in contact with the event providers directly.

GIG & PERFORMANCE TERMS & CONDITIONS

Tickets are issued for their respective events by the Promoter, Subject to the following Conditions.

  1. The use of this Ticket shall constitute acceptance by the Bearer of the Conditions of Issue and imply an undertaking on the part of the Bearer to observe them and any other notice or regulation issued by the Promoter and displayed at the Venue.
  2. All Tickets remain the property of the Promoter and are not transferable save to those people for whom the Tickets were purchased as part of a group booking. Those people will be subject to the Conditions of Issue which will apply as if he/ she were the original recipient of the Ticket.
  3. The Ticket will be exchanged for a wristband at the entrance gates and affixed by event staff. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry to the Bearer or to eject the Bearer where the wristband has been damaged or tampered with.
  4. This Ticket may not be offered as a prize in a promotion or competition or transferred, lent or sold to any third party for profit or personal gain, as part of a hospitality or travel package or used for any other commercial purpose without the written consent of the Promoter. Tickets purchased from unauthorised sources, including from Internet touts or via Internet auction sites will be void and will not permit entry to the Venue.
  5. The Promoter reserves the right to search all people and personal property upon entry to and while at the Venue. Glass items, candles, gas canisters, flares, knives, illegal substances, drugs, ‘legal highs’, laser equipment/pens, megaphones, nitrous oxide, animals, fireworks, smoke canisters, poles, banners or flags, umbrellas, drones and any items which in the absolute discretion of the Promoter are considered to be a risk to the safety of the audience and/or affect the enjoyment of the audience and/or the running of the event are prohibited.
  6. NO Glass is permitted anywhere in the Venue 
    b. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse the use of single use plastic anywhere in the Venue. 
    c. NO alcohol to be brought into the Event Site. EMPTY, reusable, drinking bottles and/or cups (up to 600ml) are permitted.
  7. Items prohibited by the Conditions of Issue shall not be brought to the Venue. Any permitted items used contrary to the Conditions of Issue and any prohibited items shall be confiscated without any liability on the Promoter to safeguard or return such items.
  8. The Bearer shall not offer or distribute (either free or for sale) within the Venue any consumer article or commercial product of any nature or purchase any such item from any vendor not authorised by the Promoter.
  9. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse admission to the Venue or to eject any person from the Venue if, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, the Bearer may be a risk to the safety of the audience and/or affect the enjoyment of the audience and/or the running of the Event, for example if the Bearer refuses to be searched upon entering the Venue or whilst at the Venue, appears to be under the influence of drink and/or drugs and/or is acting aggressively or in possession of any item prohibited by the Conditions of Issue or undertaking any act prohibited by the Conditions of Issue or fails to comply with any lawful instruction issued by or on behalf of the Promoter.
  10. The event may be cancelled in the event that the Council do not issue the appropriate licenses or if the event fails to meet the licensing conditions. A ticket refund will be available if the licenses are not issued or met.
  11. The Promoter reserves the right to impose further conditions of issue if required to by law and/or if required to in the interests of public safety.
  12. The Promoter reserves the right to alter or change the event programme, without prior notification. Refunds will not be issued should the programme be altered or if a particular artist does not appear, including headline acts.
  13. Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase unless the entire event is cancelled, in which case you will be offered Tickets at any rescheduled event (subject to availability) up to the face value of the Ticket or, if you are unable to attend the rescheduled event or the event is not rescheduled, a full refund. In the event that you accept a Ticket to a rescheduled event you will not, at a later date, be entitled to claim a refund in respect of the cancelled event.
  14. If the event is cancelled, the Promoter shall not be liable for any costs or expenses wasted or incurred by the Bearer including, but not limited to, accommodation or transport costs, or any direct or indirect losses or damage of whatever kind.
  15. The Bearer gives their irrevocable and free of charge express consent to the use of their actual or simulated image, voice or likeness in connection with the advertising, promotion or commercial exploitation of the Event or any past or future event by the Promoter or any licensee of the Promoter in any media for any period throughout the world.
  16. On-site disabled parking is available at a small parking cost via the parking page on the website.
  17. On-site stewards are available to offer assistance where needed. There is a disabled viewing point with disabled toilets available at no extra cost.
  18. An Infant aged 4 and under will have access to the Event free of charge. Proof of age may be required on entry for Infant tickets. Please ensure that you have ID with proof of age with you for your Infant in case you are asked. Failure to provide such ID may result in your Infant being refused entry to or asked to leave the Venue.
  19. Please ensure that you have ID with proof of age with you for your child/children in case you are asked. Failure to provide such ID may result in your Child being refused entry to or asked to leave the Venue.
  20. Young persons (16/17 year olds) do not need to be accompanied by an adult but cannot access the bar/marquee areas and all children 15 & under to be accompanied by a responsible adult.
  21. Adults are reminded that the rear areas of the Venue, especially immediately infront of the stage and some bands or acts that may be inappropriate and may contain adult content. Any Adult is responsible entirely for the safety and welfare of any Infant and/or Child and/or Teenager in its party. Please ensure that all Infants and/or Children and/or Teenagers carry ID with proof of age (or that the responsible Adult carries ID on their behalf). Failure to provide such ID may result in entry being refused or the Infant and/or Child and/or Teenager being asked to leave the Venue.
  22. In the event of an Infant and/or Child and/or a Teenager being refused entry to the Venue or being removed from the Venue, the accompanying Adult will take sole responsibility for the care and control of the Infant and/or Child and/or Teenager and the Promoter will bear no responsibility in this regard.
  23. Any breach of the Conditions of Issue will render this Ticket automatically void and all rights conferred or evidenced by such Ticket shall be withdrawn without any refund. For the avoidance of doubt, this will include refusal of entry to the Venue or ejection from the Venue, as applicable.
  24. Leaving and re-entering on the day is not permitted unless for a valid reason such as taking children home, making sure your guests get home safely, an emergency. To leave and re-enter on the same day requires a re-access pass, which can only be issued at the Information Point.
  25. Admission to the Venue is at the Bearer’s own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter hereby excludes any liability for loss, injury or damage to persons or property in or around the Venue during, before or after the Event.
  26. If you require to upgrade your tickets after purchase, you will be required to order the replacement tickets first. Please get in touch with us first to approve the upgrade. Once we have confirmed, following a confirmed order of replacement tickets we will cancel the order, void the original tickets and refund you the cost of the tickets, minus any booking fee’s or charges associated with the order. You may be required to purchase our cancellation cover at an additional charge.
  27. Definitions: In these Conditions of Issue, the following words and phrases shall have the following meanings: “Bearer” means the holder of this Ticket; “Conditions of Issue” means these terms and conditions governing the issue and use of a Ticket and the terms upon which the Bearer is permitted to enter and remain within the Venue; “Event” means the Forres Event; “Event Site” means the Forres Mechanics Football Ground. “Infant” means an infant of 4 years and under; “Child” means a child between 5 and 10 years; “Teenager” means any person aged between 11 and 17 years; “Adult” means any person aged 18 years or over; “Promoter” means YBD Music Ltd, 3 Fylde Road, Preston PR1 2XQ and, where the context requires, those acting on its behalf such as stewards and security guards; “Ticket” means any Ticket (paper or digital) or Wristband () issued for the Event (whether or not for value) by the Promoter to include but not limited to Weekend, Day, Resident, Infant, Child, Teen, Student, VIP and Backstage Guest. Only self-contained motorhomes will be permitted as there no toilet or shower facilities. In addition, the statement of no electricity available should extend to no water or chemical disposal and that all waste should be taken away and disposed of in a legal manner

Accessibility

To allow for a great experience for all at the event, we have provided on-site disabled parking, and will provide hands-on assistance from the car park into the event. We will have a disabled friendly viewpoint set out and disabled toilets available to allow access and enjoyment to all.

Stall & VENDOR POLICY

By granting vendors/stalls/merchants space at any of our events or festivals, you are guaranteeing to maintain the image of the event & organisers, failure to do so can result in you being asked to vacate your space at the event and cease trading. All vendors/stalls/merchant agrees to our terms of trade & hires a space, the stall fees are non refundable. By paying and agreeing for a pitch, you are committing to the Event and failure to attend reflects poorly and goes against your agreement to maintain the image of the event & organisers as above. Please guarantee you can attend before booking a spot.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

Each of our events are different, and so are our vendors and caterers. With this variance in each event, we will always make public our permitted items list, what you can bring with you and what is not allowed. Below is a list of terminology we will use:

Food & Drinks

At our events we allow snacks & sealed soft drinks. Where applicable, we will state "NO MEALS" in our permitted items list, this will be due to various catering contracts at our event. Our trained staff on the gate reserve the right to decide what is classed as a meal or snack.

Alcoholic & Non-Alcoholic Drinks

Any alcoholic beverages are prohibited at or events. We allow a maximum of 2 x Alcohol Free drinks to be brought in per person. As always we will provide both Alcoholic & Non-Alcoholic beverage options at our events as standard.

Tents, Gazebo's & Umberella's

Tents & Gazebo's are prohibited in our main event area, unless stated otherwise. Umbrella's are allowed although they must be used at the far end of the event space and not block any views of the stage or performance. This is allow everyone a greater experience at our events.

Camping Chairs & Tables

Camping chairs are permitted on our events. Camping/picnic tables are permitted although must not block any fire escapes or exit points.

MOTORHOME & CARAVAN PARKING & STAYS

Most of our events will operate overnight parking for both Motorhome & Caravan users. Below are a few of the basic’s but for more information on this please email us

SELF CONTAINED VEHICLES ONLY

There will be no electric access, no water feed etc. This means you can stay and leave no traces.

NO SHOWER/BATHROOM FACILITIES

As there are no water feeds provided, there is no shower/bathroom facilities on any of the sites

NO WASTE OR GREY WATER DISPOSAL

Cancellation & REFUND POLICY

The below is taken from the individual Terms & Conditions above and is universal across all events.

  1. The Promoter reserves the right to alter or change the event programme, without prior notification. Refunds will not be issued should the programme be altered or if a particular artist does not appear, including headline acts.
  2. Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase unless the entire event is cancelled, in which case you will be offered Tickets at any rescheduled event (subject to availability) up to the face value of the Ticket or, if you are unable to attend the rescheduled event or the event is not rescheduled, a full refund. In the event that you accept a Ticket to a rescheduled event you will not, at a later date, be entitled to claim a refund in respect of the cancelled event.
  3. If the event is cancelled, the Promoter shall not be liable for any costs or expenses wasted or incurred by the Bearer including, but not limited to, accommodation or transport costs, or any direct or indirect losses or damage of whatever kind.
  4. If you choose to cancel your order/tickets & purchase our cancellation cover (available below) you will receive the total ticket price paid. Any merchant fee’s or transaction fee’s on orders from our ticket line or online are non-refundable. 

We offer Cancellation cover at an additional fee which must be purchased at time of ordering, alongside your tickets. If you are unable to attend your purchased event, please notify us by using the form below, or via our ticketline atleast 24 hours before the event takes place. If we receive confirmation of cancelling before 24 hours we will issue a full ticket refund within 7-10 days. This is only viable if you are the original purchaser and you have purchased the cancellation cover alongside your tickets.

MACMORAY EASTER FESTIVAL 2025: FREE TICKETS TERMS & CONDITIONS

Free MacMoray Easter Festival tickets are invalid & non refundable if you have selected the incorrect tickets. Easter Tickets must only be purchased if you are attending Summer Special. Free MacMoray Easter Festival tickets purchased must match the tickets on your order for Summer Special. VIP upgrades bought are also non-refundable unless cancellation cover is also purchased, please see “CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY” below for terms & conditions related to claiming. 

FREE Easter Tickets should only be purchased by customers attending Summer Special Event 2024, where the QR’s MUST be scanned on the relevant days for tickets to be valid. FREE Easter Festival Saturday Tickets must be scanned at the Main Entrance to Summer Special on Saturday 10th August. FREE Easter Festival Sunday & Weekend Tickets must be scanned at the Main Entrance to Summer Special on Sunday 11th August. To reiterate – if your FREE Easter Tickets are not scanned at the Summer Event, you will not be granted entry to the Easter Event in 2025. Any merchant fee’s / booking fee’s associated with invalid FREE Easter Tickets are non refundable.
