MacMoray Festival is turning up the excitement as another major announcement brings legendary sounds, huge anthems and an unforgettable live music experience to Elgin.

MacMoray is continuing to build serious momentum as YBD Music prepares for another huge chapter in the festival’s story, with rock favourites Feeder and dance music icons Ian Van Dahl among the names making headlines.

Set against the backdrop of Cooper Park in Elgin, MacMoray has grown into one of Scotland’s standout live music events, bringing together generations of music fans for a weekend packed with big names, incredible performances and an atmosphere unlike any other.

Few bands capture the energy of British alternative rock quite like Feeder. With a catalogue of instantly recognisable hits and a reputation for electrifying live performances, they have become one of the UK’s most enduring rock acts. From festival favourites to songs that have soundtracked countless road trips, nights out and unforgettable memories, Feeder bring the kind of live energy that gets crowds singing along from the first note.

Meanwhile, Ian Van Dahl represents the golden era of dance music, bringing the euphoric sounds of classic trance and club anthems to the party. For fans who remember the dancefloor anthems that defined an era, the prospect of experiencing those sounds live promises a serious dose of nostalgia.

Together, these acts represent exactly what makes MacMoray special: a celebration of music across generations, genres and unforgettable moments. MacMoray 2027 will take place from 30 April to 2 May 2027, expanding to three days for the first time under the banner of The Big Weekender.

With more time to enjoy live music, more artists to discover and even more opportunities to make memories, the ambition is clear: to make the next edition the biggest and best MacMoray yet. From rock legends and chart-topping favourites to dancefloor icons and homegrown talent, the festival continues to champion the music people love while creating new experiences for the next generation of festivalgoers.

With excitement building and further developments to come, fans can keep up with the latest announcements, artist news and festival information through the official YBD Music website.
